It all started a few years ago.

I was teaching children swimming at one of the pools in Vancouver, Canada at the time. And had a blast doing it! Part of the job description was organizing kids birthday parties.

In 2005 I decided to start Kids Birthday Party Guide website. I began sharing my knowledge and the project took off.

Some of the people visiting the website wanted to share their own party ideas. And the birthday cakes led the way in content submissions.

The more visitors came, the more cakes I received. So starting a cake website seemed like a natural progression. And that's what I did!
