Cake submitted by Nicole B. from Sullivan, MO

One yellow cake mix split in half to bake 2-9" round cakes, one chocolate fudge cake mix baked in 9" pan had to cut top off chocolate cake to level it.
I laid smaller yellow cake on a plate and sat chocolate cake on top of frosted chocolate cake with chocolate whipped icing. Then added green gummy Lifesavers for pickles, yellow/green gummy worms for onion, yellow taffy warmed with blow dryer and stretched for cheese, crushed chocolate cookies to gently press into side of chocolate cake to give in a burger-like texture.
Then I placed 2nd yellow cake on top of chocolate cake, used white hipped frosting colored with food dye (yellow some red) to give it a bun color toped it with little specks of yellow taffy shaped into seeds (balls that are flattened). Used red and green cake decorating frosting in a can for lettuce and ketchup.
I found a McDonald's cup and french fries pouch. The french fries were sugar cookies baked as package says and cut to resemble fries. Added yellow taffy for cheesy fries.
Done this for my 33rd birthday for fun with my family. Had a blast and now planning on making my kids cakes rather then buy them. It's cheaper and much more fun.

Made this cake for a teacher's luncheon at my daughter's school. It's a classic devil's food cake for the middle layer, covered with a chocolate b/c icing.
The top and bottom "buns" are white French vanilla cake. Onions, cheese, lettuce, sesame seeds and tomato are all made of marshmallow fondant. The ketchup and mustard are made from vanilla b/c frosting.
