I used 1 large round cake 26 cm in diameter and 2 small cakes each 22 cm in diameter for the cow.
Use the first small cake and cut in an oval shape to make the face of the cow. Use the second small cake and cut out 2 round ears and 2 feet. Now put the cow together.
Use a large tray about 65 cm x 45 cm to put the cow on. Put the ears in position on the oval shape cake (the face). Use small wooden sticks to hold the ears on the face. Space the legs correctly on the large cake. Take the face and ears, and put them almost halfway on top of the large cake.
I used small shooter glasses to hold the head upright. Put them under the face cake. Then take paper and cut out the shapes of the cow's black spots. Put the paper where you like on the cake and decorate the cow. Leave spaces open on the face in half moon shapes for the mouth and nose, and small round circles on the ears.
Leave about 2 fingers thick open on the the bottom of the feet to make the hoof. Start with the white frosting. Use a star tip, and cover the hole cow, except where the paper is and where the mouth, nose, and the hoofs should be.
When you are done with the white frosting, remove the paper. Take dark brown or black frosting and a star tip, and cover the spots of the cow in brown or black. Take the black frosting with the star tip and cover the half shaped moon for the mouth and hoofs.
Take pink frosting and cover the half-shaped moon that is a little bit bigger than the mouth. Make the cow's nose, and cover the 2 small circles of the ears. Take 2 black jelly beans for the nostrils and 2 black sweets for the eyes. Take 2 pink finger cakes, and put them between the ears to make horns.
