I made this princess birthday cake just for fun! I saw a similar cake on Youtube, so I was inspired to make this one!
Buttercream icing, cake recipe, fondant directions and baking instructions are similar to this cake.
I recommend you bake the cake in a very deep pan, that way you can layer the same cake two times. Or, you will need two cakes for each tier to be able to achieve the "high" effect of the cake.
After the cake is cool, carve the top to make some sort of a wavy line to mimic the creases on a princess dress.
